Mike's story
I grew up in a home where domestic violence was part of the background of everyday life—watching my mother endure it firsthand—and I also lived through sexual assault myself. For decades, I carried the weight of what happened quietly inside, until I realized something: survivors don't need more silence. They need to be believed, supported, and protected. No child or adult should ever have to endure this, especially alone.
That's where my mission began. I'm dedicated to bringing as much awareness and support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as possible—helping build survivor-centered communities where healing is met with dignity, compassion, and real resources.
I pour that mission into my brand, Spandex Mafia. The purpose is simple and personal: all proceeds from Spandex Mafia go to IgniteHer, so every purchase and every bit of attention helps expand the support survivors deserve.
